Injury is often the road that leads one down the yogic path and Amy Stauffer’s story is not very different. After one of many snowboarding spills, she found herself with a not-quite-broken-but-not-quite-right shoulder issue. She turned to yoga to heal and recover.
There she discovered a new world. It is through the regular practice of yoga, the discipline, and the communication of each movement and moment of a yoga flow that leads to a path of acceptance, of peace, and a letting go.
Her intention in teaching is to lead all of her students to a deep place of understanding themselves, learning and living their true nature, and feeling what needs to be experienced so they can move forward in life.
She became a 200-hour registered Yoga Teacher in 2019 from Inner Light Yoga Studios and is also a Certified Fitness Instructor. She has been teaching a wide variety of yoga class styles in the Milwaukee area since 2018.
