Front Desk Associate

Dimple Desai joined the INVIVO Wellness Team in August 2021 as a Front Desk Associate. She is happy to answer questions, plan for appointments, help resolve concerns and make client visits positive. Dimple appreciates this opportunity to meet and communicate with a variety of wonderful people every day.

Prior to working at INVIVO Wellness, Dimple worked for three years as a secretary at a startup non-profit prosthetics company in Gainesville, Florida. Additionally, she worked for the Foreign Service Institute at the State Department translating documents in Hindi and Arabic.

Dimple is currently attaining her MBA in Business Analytics at Carroll University. When she is not working or studying, Dimple is competing as an Olympic weightlifter with Milwaukee Barbell.

Q&A with Dimple Desai

Q. What recent industry trends have you found noteworthy?

A. A recent wellness trend I find noteworthy is the shift from self-care to community care. A direct effect of the pandemic has been increased exposure to the systemic inequalities in our society that has led to a growing awareness of wellness for all. As a result, people are becoming more present in their workplaces and communities.

Q. What are your current wellness goals and how are you addressing them?

A. My current wellness goals involve having more energy throughout the day. This is a very comprehensive goal that requires getting more sleep to regenerate the body, meditation to make room for mindfulness and ease anxiety, and enriching the diet by eating more colorful fruits and vegetables.

Q. What is your favorite beautiful spot in Milwaukee?

A. My favorite beautiful spot in Milwaukee is Lake Park!

Q. What is your favorite place to eat in Milwaukee?

A. Café India in Bay View!

Q. What are your top three favorite things to do/hobbies?

A. I love Olympic weightlifting, reading, and cooking good food!

Q. What do you do to de-stress?

A. Put some heavy weight over my head.
