Each month we will feature a new challenge targeting specific movement skills that will help make you stronger and fitter to handle the physical challenges of your daily life.

March 10 – March 30, 2019: Push-ups

The Push-up is a traditional conditioning body-weight exercise calls upon the entire body and mind to perform it safely. Essentially, it is a moving plank. You are raising and lowering your own body from and to the floor – whether on toes, knees, or at the wall. This exercise is great for building upper body strength (arms, shoulders, chest and back) and core stability while improving bone mass.
