Morgan Jenswold

Avid runner and nutrition enthusiast, Morgan Jenswold believes that health should be fun and enjoyable.

She’s an aspiring Registered Dietitian, studying Nutritional Sciences at UW-Milwaukee.

She has been teaching group exercise for 4 years and loves making exercise exciting. She enjoys bringing an upbeat energy and freshness to her fitness classes. She specializes in HIIT and Circuit Training, as well as cardio training. 

As a natural competitor in both running and triathlon, Morgan believes in pushing oneself, but also finding movements and habits that are sustainable. She is a big proponent in simplifying the word “healthy” and encouraging anyone to get to a place where a healthy lifestyle is enjoyed and celebrated.

How long have you been an instructor?
I’ve been an instructor since 2016.

What areas do you specialize in?
I primarily teach HIIT and circuit classes with an emphasis on both cardio and strength training.

What brought you to your current style of practice?
I believe that a workout can be super fun! I love fast-paced classes that keep people engaged and challenged.

What can a new student expect?
New group exercise students can expect to laugh at my goofiness and learn to laugh at themselves. Nobody is perfect at exercising and it’s okay to let loose and have fun while working out.

What recent industry trends have you found noteworthy?
I love the idea of being mindful and in touch and aware of one’s body and mind.

What are your current wellness goals and how are you addressing them?
I just got married in 2020! I am trying to balance all of the fun and excitement that comes with that, as well as making time to both exercise and cook meals that nourish both of us.

What is your favorite beautiful spot in Milwaukee?
I received my wedding proposal at McKinley Marina, and while I love so many spots in Milwaukee, that one holds a special place in my heart.

What is your favorite place to eat in Milwaukee?
Beerline Cafe!!! Right across from INVIVO, they have such an exciting and healthy menu.

What are your top three favorite things to do/hobbies?
My three favorite things to do are run, cook, and go to wineries with my husband.

What do you do to de-stress?
Pre-COVID-19, my husband and I would see a movie at least once a week. Now, we will make popcorn and watch a movie at home!
